The study of it is a skill. You have to improve your language if we have found that it is not up to the expectations of others. Then how to know it ? why? Don’t you know that people before started speaking languages, gestures were the only medium of communication and of revealing one’s intentions? However we need a long practice and a close study at gestures to make sure that they are the true reflections of one’s thought. A study of body language definitely enable us to take decisions. Te gestures convey the mental state of the person we are talking to. These gestures may not be inborn as crying, shouting etc. some gesture however are genetic ; whereas some are learn and few are related to ones culture.

In body language each posture, each movement and each gaze is a message sent from within. Strictly speaking between 60-80% of our message is communicated through the body language. Thus it is powerful and dispensable in communication.

Even few animals exhibit body language. Cock with their heads , dogs communicate with some certain signals. The dog will express by eyes, ears, mouth and even his tail to express its emotions.
