Dr. Louis M. Oar, president, American medical association was once asked in a press interview by a journalist whether the doctor considers cancer as a fearful disease, the doctor in his reply said that cancer in no doubt a dreamful disease, but for American obesity is still fearful and destructive, the same ting applies to Indians as obesity increases the risk of cancer. In females we find breast, uterine, cervical and ovarian cancers. The risk in them is more. The risk of endometrial cancer or cancer of the inside lining of the uterus is seven times higher in obese women. Obese men are prone to colon and prostate cancer it is said.
